Indians battle for win in OP

On Thursday December 12, West Seneca West basketball traveled to take on Orchard Park.

The Indians controlled most of the first quarter and had a smaller lead for most of the quarter. The game remained close until the Indians went on a large run and came out of the first half up 13 by a score of 31-18. Nate Ryniec of the Indians had a huge first half as he led the Indians to their huge first half lead.

As the third quarter began The Indians kept their intensity as they gained a 16-point lead. The Quakers responded early to the 16-point deficit and went on a huge run to come out of the the third quarter up 40-37.

The fourth quarter was an exciting one as it was very close. The Indians trailed by seven but came back in the last four minutes. The Indians had some big plays in the last few minutes including a three and an and one from Zach Fahey. The Indians converted their free throws and ended up winning the game 55-53. The Indians had a big win in Orchard Park as they battled it out to beat a tough league opponent, the Orchard Park Quakers.
