The NYSPHSAA Girls Varsity Championships in Lake Placid were the victim of the snow storm that hit Thursday night.
The semi-finals scheduled for Friday night were moved to Saturday night, with Williamsville having the last game at 8 p.m.
Williamsville’s Elizabeth Jackson shot on goal and dumped it in and Williamsville gets on the boards alittle over a minute into the game. Three more shots go in and the first period ends 4-0.
Williamsville opens the scoring in the second and continues with one more ending second period 6-0. Emma Roland gets the hat trick at 6:13 of the third and the game ends 7-0.
Mia Wendell gets the shutout after turning back 14 shots on goal by Plattsburgh.
Williamsville now faces Clinton who beat Salmon River 1-0 in the first game.
Championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. today (Sunday).
